4 killed in massive fiery crash on I-96

Four people died and 17 were injured in a massive vehicle pileup on I-96 in Ingham County on Saturday night. The crash, involving a semi truck and approximately 15 vehicles, occurred when the truck failed to notice stopped traffic due to roadwork and collided with multiple vehicles, causing a fire. The victims include a 29-year-old man from Carson City and three related individuals from Lansing traveling in a Chevy Trax. The incident led to the closure of I-96 for several hours as police conducted investigations.
