New tax credit for living organ donors in Michigan

Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed new legislation meant to encourage more people to become living organ donors. Gift of Life Michigan said more than 2,400 Michiganders are currently waiting for a life-saving transplant. More than 80% on that list need a kidney, which can be offered through live donation. Patrick Wells-O'Brien from Gift of Life Michigan discussed how this bill supports organ donors.
