Full presser: Detroit communities see decrease in violent crime

Mayor Mike Duggan and community partner organizations announced significant reductions in violent crime, with a decrease as high as 83% in the city's six Community Violence Intervention Zones. The city is on course to achieve historic lows in homicides and shootings, attributed to community strategies and effective police work.
