Mother driving from Christmas party survives shooting on I-94, kids unharmed
Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on westbound I-94 near Mount Elliott, where a mother's SUV was struck by bullets as she drove home with her two children from a Christmas gathering. The mother, who was injured and taken into surgery, is expected to survive, while her children were unharmed. The incident, reported around 1:40 a.m., caused traffic delays as police continued to search for information on the suspect and suspect vehicle.
