Understanding the importance of online safety for teens

Keeping kids safe online is a challenge families face every day. A survey from the Pew Research Center found that nearly half of teens aged 13 to 17 report being online almost constantly. About 32 percent say they use Facebook, a number that has decreased in recent years but has remained steady.
