REAL ID deadline 2 weeks away: Here’s what Michigan residents need to know

Michigan residents will want to make sure they have a star on their driver’s license or state ID by May of this year. Beginning May 7, 2025, Michigan residents will need to have a REAL ID-compliant document to fly within the United States or enter certain federal facilities.
