TSA urges travelers to prepare for new ID requirements by May 7

With the Real ID compliance deadline just a week away, many travelers are preparing for the new identification requirements necessary for domestic flights within the U.S. Beginning next Wednesday, a Real ID, identifiable by a star in a gold circle, is required, though passports and enhanced IDs are also acceptable.
