Go 4 It: Help Gleaners feed kids this summer

Gleaners, with partners like Kroger, is addressing summer hunger for Southeast Michigan children who rely on school meals. On June 30, they are hosting a volunteer event at their Taylor location to assemble meal kits. Volunteers can choose from two shifts and must register online. Gleaners distributes meals through a network of 350 partners across five counties, aiming to provide over 120,000 meals daily. Additionally, donations are encouraged, as each dollar can be turned into six meals through a matching fund available until August 31.
