Detroit bus shooting suspect on the run

A 26-year-old man was shot on a Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus by a suspect described as a man in his 50s, wearing a black baseball cap and white T-shirt. The incident occurred on July 2 around 7:25 a.m., and the suspect fled the scene, last seen near Mound and Davison. In response, Detroit Police plan increased random bus boardings to enhance safety. The shooting followed a stabbing incident on a DDOT bus the previous night, involving a dispute between a driver and passenger.
