Eastpointe community mourns Jennifer Harris, stabbed at work by employee

Friends, family, and community members gathered at a McDonald’s in Eastpointe to honor Jennifer Harris, a 39-year-old manager and single mother of six, who was fatally stabbed at her workplace. The suspect, 26-year-old Afeni Badu Muhammad, has been charged with first-degree murder and other offenses, and is held on a $25 million bond. A balloon release was planned as part of the tribute to Harris, highlighting the community's shock and mourning over her tragic death.
