Charges dropped against woman accused of lying to police in London Thomas’ death

Charla Pendergrass, initially charged with lying to police during the investigation of 17-year-old London Thomas' death, had her charges dropped. The dismissal occurred because the statute under which she was charged did not recognize FBI agents as peace officers, a necessary condition for the charge.
