Detroit Golf Club
Topping the list of best Detroit golf courses is Detroit Golf Club, also a past winner of the Vote 4 The Best contest.
Located on Hamilton Street, Detroit Golf Club says a warm, friendly atmosphere prevails at its golf course. Storied with golf history since 1899, it is the only private golf club in Detroit.
"I live closer to other clubs but belong to DGC because its membership, courses, competition, kids activities, swimming team, clubhouse, food and overall atmosphere are just superb," said George, who voted in this year's contest.

Stonebridge Golf Club
Designed in 1991 by world famous golf course architect Arthur Hills, Stonebridge Golf Club places second on the list of best golf courses across Metro Detroit.
Stonebridge Golf Club says its public golf course and driving range offers several tee options to accommodate all levels of play. Additionally, their practice facility now includes a chipping bunker and practice greens.
"Nice public course. Most holes are surrounded by beautiful homes," said Scott.

Raisin River Golf Course
Next on the list of best golf courses across Metro Detroit is Raisin River Golf Course.
Raisin River Golf Course says it is the only 36 hole public golf course in Monroe County. With early bird rates and special golf packages, voters love returning to Raisin River Golf Course.
"Best golf courses and customer service in southeastern Michigan," said Chad. "Love everything about it."
