Below is Andrew Humphrey's forecast:
A cold front is on the way, and showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of it. That development has a chance of happening right over Detroit and Southeast Michigan. After 1 p.m. ET, light showers turn into heavier downpours and lightning shows by 3 p.m. and afterward.
There is a "Marginal" to "Slight Risk" of strong to severe storms Sunday afternoon and evening; between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET. Heavy downpours, lighting, and damaging wind and hail are possible. There appears to be a shift in conditions whereby areas south of I-94, especially in the Ohio and Indiana will be more susceptible to the most hazardous storms.
