DETROIT – We remain snow-free, Saturday evening, but streets become slippery again as temperatures retreat. Much colder again, Saturday night. More sun with gradual thawing, Sunday
Saturday evening becomes colder under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to near 30°F. Coats will be needed for theater lovers going to and from the 8:00 p.m. ET August Wilson play “Jitney” at the Music Hall in Detroit.

Saturday night becomes very cold again. Skies will be partly cloudy. Overnight lows will be in the teens and low 20s. Use caution on any refrozen surfaces while driving or walking.
Sunday will be partly sunny and chilly. Highs will be in the middle 30s. Remember your favorite Honolulu blue and silver coat, hat, scarf and gloves to stay warm.
Clouds return on Monday, but thankfully there won’t be any snow or rain. The thaw continues to creep along as afternoon temperatures reach 40°F.
Tuesday will be a repeat of Monday. You’ll be mainly gray with highs near 40°F.
Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs breaking 40 degrees.
