DETROIT – Welcome to Good Friday, Motown.
Skies continue to look glorious this evening. It becomes colder Friday night but milder Saturday. Easter Sunday will be fantastic with warmer conditions.
Friday evening will be clear and chilly. Mother Nature will help you get to and from Good Friday drive-thru services with the dry conditions. The sky will have beautiful blues, yellows and oranges toward sunset. Temperatures will be in the 30s.

Friday night will be clear and cold. Bundle up before going outdoors to view Mars in the west-northwestern sky before midnight or Saturn and Jupiter in the southeastern sky between 5:30 and 7:00 a.m. Remember to bring the pets indoors, make sure furnaces are working and grab an extra blanket. Overnight lows will be in the 20s.

Saturday will be sunny and milder. The only cooler spots will be in Port Huron and the neighborhoods north of I-69 and into The Thumb. There, highs will be closer to 50 degrees. The rest of the Detroit area will have highs closer to and just above 60 degrees.
Welcome to Easter Sunday, also known as Resurrection Day. As the sun rises, again, daytime temperatures will eventually reach the upper 60s.
Monday will be mostly sunny and mild. Highs will be near 65 degrees.
Tuesday will have a chance of showers. It remains mild to warm. Temperatures climb back to the upper 60s during the day.
Wednesday goes from mostly cloudy to partly sunny under mild conditions. Daytime temps will be in the low and middle 60s.
