DETROIT – It’s going to be a pretty nice mid-November day, it’s just not quite as warm as we’d like or even as warm as average.
Look for sun and clouds becoming partly sunny at times with highs only in the mid 40s with a wind SSE 5-10mph which is a temporary end to that lake effect machine.
Skies will begin to fill with more clouds later today or tonight ahead of a brief disturbance bringing some moisture Wednesday. So it will stay dry today while staying about five degrees below average, which is 49 degrees this time of year.
Sunset is at 5:11 p.m.
Wednesday will easily be the warmest of the week while we await showers at times during the day. Some of our computer model data brings a few morning showers into play with a warm front but we likely won’t see widespread or problematic showers.
That warm front and warming winds SSW 10-20 mph will help our highs hit 60 degrees or warmer on Hump Day, and the better shower chances are into the afternoon and evening as all rain ahead of a cold front. That front will pass through SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario Wednesday night into Thursday morning keeping showers alive during that time too.
Our weather will be trending back to the cool side Thursday and into your weekend and after a chance for a few morning showers, most of Thursday looks dry with temps all day in the low to mid 40s.
Sunshine returns Friday but a chilly start in the upper 20s will only be followed by highs in the low to mid 40s Friday.
Saturday looks cool and dry on the computer models but Sunday may be a different story.
Early model data brings a little wintry mix early Sunday morning and then clearing and another shot at rain and snow into Monday of next week.
