4Warn Weather – We’re tracking a few slim chances of light rain over the weekend and next week. Still, conditions will remain dry for most, as temperatures start warming up in Metro Detroit. Here’s what to expect for the next few days.

Slim rain chances Saturday, Monday

  • There aren’t any big storms in our future, but a drop or two of rain can’t be ruled out both Saturday and Monday.
  • On Saturday, some light rain and snow is likely to our north, but areas north of M-59 could see a drip or drop later in the day. Most, however, will stay dry.
  • On Monday, a weak disturbance will try to pop a few showers to our west. Still, it looks like we’ll stay dry here, but we’ll have to watch this, as a sprinkle or two may work their way in.

Warming up next week

  • The trend over the next week is for things to warm up -- but overnight lows will still be on the cold side the next couple of days.
  • We’ll wake up Saturday near freezing, and only top out in the lower 50s.
  • By Monday, highs will be in the middle 60s. On Wednesday, we’ll be in the middle 70s!

Average last measurable snow

  • The date in which we see our average last measurable snow (0.1″ or more) is today, April 7.
