4Warn Weather – After a quiet evening here in Metro Detroit, storms are set to return to kick off the weekend. Mostly clear and pleasant overnight with a low of 63.

Friday

We start out with partly sunny skies on Friday, and the humidity starts creeping up along with the temps.

By the afternoon and evening, our chance of showers and strong to severe thunderstorms begin to increase. The main threat will be large hail and also the possibility of damaging winds.

Saturday

A few showers and thunderstorms are possible for the first half of Saturday but are limited by the evening hours.

We are under a marginal risk for severe weather on both Friday and Saturday. This is the lowest threat level from the Storm Prediction Center.
