4Warn Weather – Our Thursday begins with damp sidewalks and temperatures back in the 60s. You will need the umbrella early today, but plan for shorts and t-shirts this afternoon.
Scattered showers fizzle out after sunrise, and the rest of the day should remain dry. Clouds win out today, but milder weather will continue.
Southwesterly winds will usher in above average warmth this afternoon, bringing highs back into the 70s.

A few rounds of light rain could redevelop Thursday night.
Mild Friday
We will see the clouds break on Friday, giving us some sunshine as we climb back into the 70s. We will likely be a few degrees shy of the record high on Friday, but we’ll get close. The current record stands at 78 degrees set back in 1927.
Cooler weekend with rain chances
Much cooler air will return this weekend. Temperatures fall back into the 50s.
Saturday should remain most dry, but we’ll have a better chance of widespread rain on Sunday.
Halloween forecast
Next week, temperatures will be below average with highs in the low and mid 40s for at least the first half of the week. Lows will be in the 30s, and possibly even the 20s by Wednesday.
As of right now, Halloween on Tuesday looks to be dry for trick-or-treating, but chilly. A wintry mix could roll in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Elsewhere ...
Nationally, a line of heavy rainfall moving through Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas will continue through Thursday morning. Across the northwestern U.S., heavy snow will continue through the end of the week. Heavy rainfall and snow could lead to difficult travel conditions.
