Rain, cooler air headed for Metro Detroit: What to expect this week

Rain arriving Wednesday

4Warn Weather – Our Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with better chances of sunshine in the afternoon. A stray sprinkle is possible.

Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s as a cool air mass overtakes us.

The morning’s gusty winds will fall to about 5-10 mph out of the northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight’s sunset is at 5:20 p.m.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s.

Rain arrives Wednesday

The brief break from the rain comes to an end.

Rain showers will be likely across Southeast Michigan and southwestern Ontario on Wednesday.

Cool air will keep daytime temperatures from rising above the mid- and upper 40s.

Clouds through the weekend

It will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy through Friday. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Lows will be in the lower to mid-30s.

Veterans Day, Saturday, will be partly cloudy and cool. Highs will be in the mid-50s. Lows will be in the lower 30s.

Sunday, it will be mostly cloudy with similar daytime temperatures.
