When to expect sunshine this week in Metro Detroit

Slight bump in temps later this week

4Warn Weather – Our Monday begins cool, calm and cloudy. Temperatures begin right around the freezing mark.

We’ll have more clouds than sun today, but we’re not ruling out a few breaks here and there.

Temperatures will be seasonal today with highs in the upper 30s.

Tonight’s sunset is at 5:01 p.m.

Slight temp bump

Expect an uneventful work week weather-wise, with more sunshine returning after Monday.

We will get a little bump in temperatures by Friday as we rise into the upper 40s.

As of right now, the weekend looks to be in the mid- and upper 40s and dry.

Elsewhere ...

Nationally, the cold front that swept through our area over the weekend will bring heavy snow in portions of the New England states. Snow will also develop over parts of the Central Appalachians, and the rain may change over to snow over parts of the mid-Atlantic. Heavy rain is forecast for parts of Maine.
