4Warn Weather – The soggy weather pattern continues for at least the next two days.
Our Thursday begins with patchy fog possible through the morning. Temps will warm into the 40s by the afternoon.
Keep the umbrella handy today. Rain showers are expected to continue throughout the day, and will be on and off all day.
Tonight’s sunset is at 5:08 p.m.
Scattered rain showers will continue overnight into Friday. Mostly cloudy skies can be expected when there aren’t showers. Overnight lows will drop into the mid- and upper 30s for most.
Rain continues Friday
The low pressure system that has been over the Midwest for most of the week will finally move off to the east by the end of Friday.
We’ll keep a chance of rain showers end of the forecast once again for Friday. Showers will be more widespread across Southeast Michigan at around 7 p.m.
High temperatures will be in the low to mid-40s.

New Year’s Eve weekend forecast
Some sunshine returns to the forecast Saturday, but mostly cloudy skies are still expected. We’ll have a brief break from wet weather on Saturday.
Highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Wet weather will return for New Year’s Eve on Sunday. Clouds will increase, and we’ll have chances for rain and snow showers throughout the day.
The system will move quickly, and will be out of the region by Sunday night.
Next week preview
We’ll start 2024 with some much-needed sunshine and January-like temperatures on Monday, New Year’s Day. Partly cloudy skies can be expected with high temperatures in the upper 30s
That sunshine will continue into next Tuesday. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 30s.
Clouds will increase by Wednesday next week. Highs will remain above average, in the upper 30s.
