Thick fog lingers, another round of rain rolls into Metro Detroit

4WARN WEATHER – Thick fog is lingering and another round of rainfall is rolling into Metro Detroit on Wednesday.

A Dense Fog Advisory has been extended to all of Southeast Michigan and will now carry into Thursday morning. It is likely there will some modest improvement and fluctuation of surface visibilities this afternoon due to rainfall, however, it is expected to be temporary. Expecting dense fog again tonight for all areas. Plan to give yourself extra time on the roads again Thursday morning.). Thick fog has reduced visibility to a 1/4 mile or less. We will continue to contend with rain this afternoon as temperatures top out in the upper 30s.

Another round of rain moves in Thursday late day into Friday morning. Highs will be around 40 to end the work week and into the weekend. Otherwise, mostly cloudy on Friday afternoon and Saturday with a chance for a wintry mix on Sunday. We will start next week in the mid to upper 30s before another warm-up arrives and temperatures climb into the mid to upper 40s by the end of next week.
