After a soggy end of the week with rain showers for most everybody, dry weather sticks around through the start of our weekend before another round of winter weather heads our way by the time we get to Sunday.
Cloud cover sticks around throughout the entire day today, we are watching patchy dense fog as you’re heading out the door early on Saturday morning. If you do run into lower visibility, give yourself a few extra minutes to get to your destination. Temperatures starting into lower 30 Saturday morning, will warm into the lower 40s by late Saturday afternoon.
Winter weather returns to the region overnight tonight, and through the first part of our Sunday. With temperatures falling overnight toward the freezing mark, we are expecting this to start out as some rain showers, before changing over to a wintry mix, and then over to some snow on Sunday morning. There is the potential for a light snow accumulation on grassy surfaces and elevated surfaces, but we are not expecting a widespread disruptive snow accumulation. We will keep the snow around for the first half of the day on Sunday, and for some places into the early afternoon. High temperatures heading for the upper 30s by Sunday afternoon.
Dry weather sticks around for the start of the week on Monday before another chance of rain and snow showers moves into the forecast by the time we get to Tuesday. This is a clipper system that will work through the region for most of the day bringing a chance of rain and snow showers to the region. High temperatures heading for the upper 30s both Monday and Tuesday and starting slightly below freezing overnight Monday night early on Tuesday morning.
Mostly cloudy skies can be expected on Wednesday, it will be a dry day across the region. High temperatures heading back into the lower 40s by Wednesday afternoon, then we hold onto the chance of a light wintry mix on Thursday, with dry weather sticking around for the end of the week on Friday. Morning low temperatures Thursday morning and Friday morning starting off right around the freezing mark, will warm into the lower 40s by the afternoon each day.
