Record breaking temps transition into rain in Metro Detroit

Tuesday highs in upper 50s; Wednesday highs in lower 50s

Overnight skies become cloudy, and rain arrives sometime between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday. Showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder during the morning commute, with lows staying in the low to mid-50s. (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – What a start to the work week as we broke a record Monday with a high of 73 degrees. We stay above normal all week, but rain will move in during the morning commute on Tuesday.

Tuesday

Overnight skies become cloudy, and rain arrives sometime between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday. Showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder during the morning commute, with lows staying in the low to mid-50s.

Tuesday brings showers in the morning but taper off as we go through the afternoon. We hit our high of 57 in the morning, but temperatures will fall throughout the afternoon and evening.

Wednesday

Dry for Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the cooler but still above average in the upper 40s to low 50s.
