Sunshine, warmer temps to start week

Rain showers return to the region looking ahead into the second half of the week (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – We’ll see lots of sunshine and a rapid warmup over the first few days of this week.

Our Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-50s by this afternoon.

Tonight’s sunset is at 7:35 p.m.

Expect mostly clear skies overnight into Tuesday. Some clouds will more in by Tuesday morning, with even more cloud cover expected later Tuesday night.

Highs will be even higher Tuesday, in the low 60s by the afternoon.

Clouds will increase overnight into Wednesday morning ahead of some rain chances.

Rain chances arrive later this week

Rain chances arrive for some on Wednesday as a warm front lifts north into our region. Showers will be particularly possible in the morning through the early to mid-afternoon.

Showers will be scattered. Most of our region will remain dry throughout the day.

Highs will be in the mid-60s on Wednesday.

We’ll have a better chance of rain on Thursday.

More showers are possible early Thursday morning, and then again later Thursday night, starting around 7 p.m. Those showers will last into Friday.

Highs will be in the low 60s on Thursday, and the upper 50s on Friday.

Drying out this weekend

We’ll start to dry out for the weekend. Expect both sunshine and clouds on Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the 50s both days.
