Marginal risk of severe weather possible for all of Southeast Lower Michigan

Tuesday highs in upper 50s; Wednesday highs in upper 40s

4Warn Weather – From snow to storms, the weather is certainly anything but boring so far this spring.

Overnight skies will become cloudy, with showers developing in the early morning hours. Lows will be in the low to mid-40s.

Tuesday

Tuesday brings a couple of rounds of rain, including the chance for a few evening thunderstorms. Some of those storms could be severe, with the chance of high winds and an isolated tornado.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed all of Southeast Lower Michigan under a marginal risk of severe weather. This is the lowest threat level.

Here is the timeline for Tuesday:

6 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Widespread, heavy rain

10 a.m.- 6 p.m.: Mostly cloudy skies with a few breaks of sun.

6 p.m.- 8 p.m.: Chance for a few storms, some of which could be strong to severe.

High winds will also be a factor on Tuesday with gusts over 35mph.
