Parts of Northern Michigan could see up to two feet of snow as a big winter storm blows through the region.
The blizzard warning includes Baraga and Marquette counties, which will be in effect through Wednesday evening.

The National Weather Service in Marquette says whiteout conditions are expected along with possible power outages.
“Snow accumulations of up to one foot are forecast at the shore with two feet or more expected to pile up in the higher terrain areas inland from Lake Superior. Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.”
Winter storm warnings are also in effect for the majority of the Upper Peninsula, with several inches of snow and high winds expected in areas just outside the blizzard warning zone.
Areas closer to Traverse City could also see a couple of inches of snow after it’s all said and done.
In Metro Detroit, flurries are possible, but it’ll mostly be rain. A nasty day around the state.
