Rain clears out just in time for Monday’s solar eclipse in Metro Detroit -- here’s what to expect

4Warn Weather – Well, it wasn’t the prettiest Opening Day, but the weekend is shaping up quite nicely.

Overnight, it will be mostly cloudy and cool, with a low of 35 degrees. Winds NNW 5-15mph.

Weekend forecast

A few clouds linger Saturday morning but don’t worry. As we head into the afternoon hours, more sunshine will develop, promising a brighter day.

Highs return to the low 50s, just a touch below normal.

Sunday looks sunny in the morning but with increasing clouds later in the day. Highs will be in the low to mid-50s.
