4Warn Weather – Bundle up! This Wednesday is the coldest day of the week.
Temperatures will struggle to reach 50 degrees today. Wind chills will make things feel about 5 degrees cooler throughout the day, as northerly wind gusts will remain around 20 mph.
Clouds will peel away midday, giving way to sunshine.
Tonight’s sunset is at 8:26 p.m.
A freeze warning has been issued for all of Southeast Michigan. That means imminent temperatures will be at or below the freezing mark, and will be conducive to widespread frost or freeze. Be sure to bring any potted plants indoors.
The warning goes into effect at midnight, and will last until 8 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures will dip into the mid- to upper 20s at that time.
Warming up + rain chances
Conditions will be dry Thursday with a warming trend bringing high temperatures to the 50s on Thursday. Highs will be in the 60s on Friday.
Showers are likely Friday night. There is a better chance for rain to roll in before daybreak on Saturday. That rain appears to be more spotty throughout the rest of the day, and possibly into Sunday.
Expect windy and warm conditions this weekend. We could be flirting with 80-degree highs by the end of the weekend.
Temps will stay well above average to start next week.
