4Warn Weather – We have an incredibly warm start to the month of May.
We’re waking up to temps on either side of 50 degrees on this Wednesday, but highs this afternoon will soar close to 80 degrees.
Clouds are pumping in from the west early on, and could bring the small chance of an isolated sprinkle or two. By midday, though, those clouds are expected to push out and give way to plenty of sunshine.
Winds will also pick up this afternoon and gust upward of 25 mph.
Tonight’s sunset is at 8:33 p.m.
The next best chance for rain arrives on Friday. There will be a chance for a few scattered showers in the morning, but the best chance will be in the afternoon with a few embedded thunderstorms possible.
Thursday will stay dry. We’ll stay in the 70s through the weekend and into early next week.
Elsewhere ...
Nationally, severe weather for parts of the the Plains and Mississippi Valley. Meanwhile, it’s cool and snowy in the Northwest and above average temperatures continue across much of the central and eastern U.S.
