The weather will be pleasant to start the week in Metro Detroit, but then there’s a chance of thunderstorms.
A high-pressure will dominate and clear skies over Metro Detroit overnight.
We will have decreasing clouds, which will lead to partly cloudy skies on Sunday night. Lows will fall to the upper 40s. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.
Monday
Monday, it will be partly cloudy in the morning and mostly sunny in the afternoon as a high-pressure system centers itself over Michigan. Highs will be in the upper 60s to 70 degrees. Easterly winds will be 5 to 10 mph. Under mostly clear skies, expect temperatures to fall into the upper 40s at night.
Tuesday
Showers and the chance of a few thunderstorms will return Tuesday afternoon and evening. There is a low chance that a couple of storms could become strong enough to produce gusty winds. Highs will reach the lower 70s, and lows will fall to the mid 50s.
Wednesday
Wednesday, it will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny for much of the day, but clouds and the chance of rain will increase in the evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s to 80 degrees. Nighttime lows will be in the mid 50s to 60 degrees.
Thursday
A low-pressure system over Lower Michigan will keep the chance of rain in the forecast for Thursday. Cooler air will flow into the area as temperatures reach the mid 60s to 70 degrees. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s.
Friday
Friday, we will have a mix of sun and clouds with the chance of an isolated shower. Highs will be in the mid 60s. Lows will be in the mid 40s.
Saturday
It will be mostly cloudy with nighttime showers on Saturday. Expect highs in the mid 60s and lows around 50 degrees.
Sunday
Sunday’s temperatures will give us a repeat of Saturday’s weather, but a few showers will be possible.
Normal highs through next weekend are 67 to 69 degrees in Metro Detroit. Normal lows ae 47 to 49 degrees.
