4Warn Weather – Clean-up is already underway after an evening of powerful storms, including tornadoes, which left paths of destruction in Southwest Michigan.
In Southeast Michigan, the storms swept across the area with less intensity. The tornado watch for Washtenaw, Lenawee, and Monroe counties was set to expire at 11 p.m. Thursday and the low risk of severe weather was forecast to end.
Tuesday night
Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible even after the severe threat ends, but most of the activity will be over by midnight. Once showers end, we will be left with partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Wednesday
Wednesday will be dry and warmer. Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny, helped by a high-pressure system. Highs will be in the upper 70s to 80 degrees. Clouds will increase at night as temperatures fall to the lower to mid-50s.
Thursday
Cooler air will flow into the area on Thursday, causing daytime temperatures to peak in the lower to mid-60s and lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Friday
Friday will bring a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the lower to mid-60s, and lows will be in the lower to mid-40s.
Saturday
Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Expect highs in the mid-60s and lows in the upper 40s to 50 degrees.
Sunday
Mother’s Day will be a few degrees milder, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s. It will be mainly partly cloudy, but a stray shower is possible.
