4Warn Weather – With a pesky area of low-pressure spinning nearby, rain chances hang on a little longer.

Later this evening, showers move in from the south, with chances best along and south of I-94. So, a lot of us look to be dry this evening, with that changing overnight tonight.

As the night progresses, a few showers will move through for just about everyone, though there will be a few dry spots.

Wednesday

Temperatures overnight will only drop into the lower to middle 50s. Some of this lingering rain will try to hang on through the morning and perhaps early afternoon Wednesday, but the trend during the PM hours Wednesday is rain ending and more dry time.

Highs on Wednesday will be in the lower 70s, a gradual rise from the previous days.

Thursday

The next system brings rain chances back into southeastern Michigan as early as later Thursday. However, these chances are spotty in coverage and are not all that high. Friday is by far our next best chance for showers, perhaps a rumble of thunder.

Weekend forecast

Temperatures are on the rise during this stretch and through the weekend. We’ll be back to near 80 by Sunday and Monday of next week, promising a potentially pleasant weekend ahead.

Next week

We’re also bringing rain chances back early next week, with showers arriving as early as late Sunday, but we’re leaning more towards Monday and Tuesday of next week.
