4Warn Weather – The weather conditions will flip on us, but pleasant and dry weather will last for another day.
It will be mostly clear and comfortable as temperatures fall into the upper 50s on Thursday night. Westerly winds will be 5 to 10 mph.
Friday
It will be mostly sunny on Friday morning, but clouds will start building in the afternoon. Winds will be out of the south-southeast at 5 to 10 mph. It will become mostly cloudy as rain showers move in from the west. The rain will move into Southeast Michigan mainly after 10 p.m. Southeasterly winds will be 5 to 10 mph.
Numerous events will take place over Memorial Day Weekend, including ceremonies to honor the fallen. Movement Music Festival will also be held in Detroit from Saturday to Monday.
Saturday
A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible Saturday morning and through the early afternoon as a cold front sweeps across the region. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy. Highs will be in the upper 70s to 80 degrees. It will be mostly clear at night, with lows in the mid-50s. Behind the cold front, a cool air mass will begin to push over the Great Lakes region.
Sunday
Sunday will start with sunshine, but the skies will become mostly cloudy. A few rain showers will develop in the afternoon as highs reach the mid-70s. The chance of rain showers will increase at night. Lows will be around 60 degrees.
Memorial Day
On Memorial Day, plan for rain as you go to outdoor ceremonies and parades. We may have a few isolated showers in the morning, but the chance will increase in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the lower 70s. Lows will be in the lower to mid 50s.
Normal temperatures
Metro Detroit’s normal highs through Memorial Day are 73 to 74 degrees, and the normal lows are 53 to 54 degrees.
