Sunday Night
Before Monday’s warm and mostly pleasant weather, some areas will experience fog. The patchy fog will develop late Sunday night and could become dense in some spots, especially in the Thumb. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy. Temperatures will fall to the upper 50s to 60 degrees. Winds will be out of the northeast around 5 mph.
Monday
Be prepared for patchy fog early Monday, which will dissipate by late morning. It is advised that drivers slow down and use fog lights. Clouds will decrease as skies become partly cloudy by the afternoon. Expect highs around 80 degrees. Winds will be out of the south-southeast at 5 to 10 mph. It will become mostly cloudy at night. Lows will be in the lower to mid 60s.
Tuesday
The rain will return early Tuesday. It will be mostly cloudy with the chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The better chance of rain will be north of Eight Mile Road. Temperatures will rise into the mid 80s.
Wednesday
A cold front will sweep across the region with showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. The main window will be from afternoon to night. Highs will be in the lower 80s, and lows will be in the lower 60s.
Thursday
Behind the cold front, temperatures will tumble slightly on Thursday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s with the chance of a few showers and thunderstorms.
Friday
It will be even cooler on Friday with highs in the mid 60s to 70 degrees. Under mostly cloudy skies, there will be the chance of a few showers.
Saturday and Sunday
Next weekend, there will be the chance of a stray shower on Saturday and partly cloudy on Sunday. Highs will be in the lower to mid 70s both days. Lows will be in the mid 50s.
Normal temperatures are 76 to 78 degrees through the weekend at Detroit Metro Airport, while the normal lows are 57 to 59 degrees.
