Weekend rain possible in Metro Detroit as temps cool

Few rain chances Friday

4Warn Weather – Our Friday begins cloudy with cool and breezy conditions.

Winds will pick up again today, with westerly wind gusts of 25-35 mph. High temperatures will top out around 70 degrees.

Expect more clouds than sun today. There are very few chances for scattered showers, mainly for those north of I-69,

More clouds than sun with a few scattered showers, mainly north of I-69, from the mid-morning to later this afternoon. That’s the only rain on tap for today.

Weekend forecast

Temperatures will stay slightly below average this weekend with highs only reaching the mid-70s.

Scattered showers are likely to spread across the area Saturday afternoon into Saturday evening. The onset of scattered rain should arrive around 5 p.m. More moderate rain should push through the area after sunset.

Rain will continue overnight, and push out by Sunday morning.

We’ll dry out Sunday, but cool conditions will persist, lasting into early next week.

We will be seasonal with sunshine on Tuesday, followed by a warming trend back into the 80s by late in the week.
