4Warn Weather – Wednesday was a bit muggy but still tolerable in Metro Detroit this evening. Go ahead and make your outdoor plans as our chance for thunderstorms is just about gone.
Overnight, expect mostly cloudy skies with lows dropping into the mid to upper 60s.
Independence Day
The 4th of July is shaping up to be a nice, warm summer day—perfect weather for the pool or barbeques.
There is a very slight chance of a pop-up shower in the afternoon, but don’t let that threat change your plans. It will still be a bit muggy, with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Friday
Friday will be another sticky day with highs in the mid-80s. By Friday evening, we will have our best chance for storms this holiday weekend.
Saturday
Saturday brings a much-needed respite from the heat. It will be a dry weekend, perfect for outdoor activities before more storms roll in early next week.
Your up-north forecast is tonight at 5 p.m.
