4Warn Weather – This is the air you can wear... the heat and humidity linger today with heat indices rising into the mid to upper 90s this afternoon.

We have multiple chances for showers and thunderstorms. An area of thunderstorms will work across Southeast Michigan this morning bringing the first chance of scattered rain chances. Highs today rise close to 90. Most of the afternoon will be dry before the next complex of storms works east across southern Lake Michigan and across southern Michigan tonight.

SUNSET: 9:08 PM

Tonight’s storms have the potential to be strong to severe with damaging winds. Additional storms will be possible Tuesday ahead of a cold front that will drop through the region bringing cooler temperatures the rest of the week. We will be in the mid-80s Tuesday before highs fall into the upper 70s through the rest of the work week. Otherwise, sunny and seasonal this weekend.
