4Warn Weather – Humidity is not “sticking” around much longer in Metro Detroit as the muggy meter has been off the charts lately, but relief is finally in sight.

A cold front will finally move through, leaving behind drier air and much more pleasant days ahead.

Overnight, expect partly cloudy skies and pleasant temps in the upper 60s.

Wednesday

Wednesday is our transition day from the humid air mass to a drier one. The ground is still pretty saturated, so I can’t rule out a passing shower up into the thumb on Wednesday afternoon. But most places stay dry, with highs in the upper 70s to right around 80 degrees.

Then, high pressure takes control, and we are in for a lovely stretch of dry, beautiful weather.

Thursday and Friday

Thursday and Friday will bring low humidity and highs in the 70s to low 80s.

Let’s chat about the weekend forecast at 11 p.m.
