What to know as another chance of storms, showers heads to Metro Detroit

Muggy Tuesday morning with lingering showers

4WARN WEATHER – Another round of storms and showers is heading toward Metro Detroit on Tuesday.

Muggy morning with rain chances

We’re looking at a muggy Tuesday morning with some lingering showers following last night’s severe storms.

The severe threat has lifted, but you could still encounter some standing water across the area.

Sunrise is at 6:11 a.m. Tuesday.

More storms

A cold front will drop southward through Michigan today, bringing another chance for showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures will reach into the low to mid-80s, but the front will bring a cooler airmass and highs in the 70s much of the remainder of the work week.

Sunset is at 9:11 p.m.

Rest of this week

A few afternoon showers can’t be ruled out Wednesday afternoon, as a cooler airmass settles in.

Otherwise, high pressure brings cooler, drier and less humid weather into the region to end the workweek.

The weekend looks to be dry, with a mix of sun and cloud and highs in the low 80s.
