Coolest day of the week is here; Wonderful weekend ahead for Metro Detroit

Drier, less humid stretch of weather returns

4Warn Weather – A much cooler start this morning with temperatures on either side of 60. You might want an extra layer early, but pleasant conditions prevail this afternoon. Don’t forget your shades!

Sunrise is at 6:13 a.m. Cooler air filters into the region through the rest of the workweek amidst Midwest high pressure. This offers a mainly dry and cool forecast with a gentle northerly breeze. Highs today will be about ten degrees below average in the mid-70s under mostly sunny skies.

Sunset is at 9:05 p.m. The high then tracks into the Ohio Valley this weekend allowing humidity to creep back in by Sunday and a slight rise in temperatures.

Our next best chance of rain doesn’t arrive until the middle of next week. If you are traveling up north this weekend, we will be dry with highs on either side of 80. Great weather!

However, you might notice an uptick in mosquitoes, so don’t forget to apply the bug repellent!
