4Warn Weather – A wet start to the workweek will be replaced by sunshine and warmer weather by the end of the week.
Showers and a few thunderstorms will diminish Monday evening. Partly cloudy skies and patchy fog will remain at night. Lows will range from 60 to 65 degrees, with warmer temperatures in and near Detroit.
Tuesday
There will be fewer clouds on Tuesday, but there is also the chance for a spotty shower or thunderstorm. Temperatures will reach the mid-80s and lows in the lower to mid-60s.
Wednesday
Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Wednesday, particularly in the afternoon and evening, as a cold front sweeps across the area. Highs will be in the lower 80s, and lows will fall to the lower 60s.
Thursday through Weekend
From Thursday through the weekend, expect plenty of sunshine. Besides mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, the warmup will be on people’s minds. It will be in the upper 70s to 80 degrees on Thursday. By Sunday, highs will be in the mid-80s. A jacket may come in handy during the nights and early mornings with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
This stretch averages as the warmest part of the year. Normal highs are 84 degrees at Detroit Metro Airport, and normal lows are 65 degrees.
