Storms possible Tuesday in Metro Detroit, with an even better chance Wednesday

Tuesday begins with some fog

4WARN WEATHER – Storms are possible Tuesday in Metro Detroit, but there’s an even better chance on Wednesday.

A little bit of patchy fog developed early Tuesday morning, but otherwise it’s mild and muggy.

It’ll be mostly sunny to start the day, with clouds building in the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can’t be ruled out during the afternoon and evening.

Highs will be in the mid-80s, paired with humidity.

Sunseet is at 9:01 p.m.

Widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected Wednesday, ahead of and along a cold front. Strong thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon.

Dry weather returns Thursday through the weekend. Highs will fall into the low 80s to round out the workweek before temperatures gradually warm each day through the weekend and into early next week, where we will be close to 90 by Monday.
