4Warn Weather – Metro Detroit will have a pleasant stretch through the weekend.
A high-pressure system drifting across the Great Lakes is influencing this weather. Clouds will continue to decrease Thursday evening as skies become mostly clear at night.
Lows will be in the lower 50s in the Thumb, mid-50s in Ann Arbor, Howell, Pontiac, Troy, Macomb Township, and Port Huron, and around 60 degrees in Detroit, Livonia, Dearborn, Westland, Warren, and Monroe.
Friday
A light jacket may be needed Friday morning until temperatures warm nicely during the day.
The weather for Pride Royal Oak and other events across Southeast Michigan will be similar, with abundant sunshine. Highs will be around 80 degrees, with winds out of the east and east-northeast around 5 mph.
Under mostly clear skies, Friday night’s lows will range from 55 degrees in the Thumb to 60 degrees in Detroit.
Saturday
Saturday will almost be a carbon copy. It will be mostly sunny, with highs in the lower and lows in the lower 60s.
Sunday
By Sunday, clouds will begin to increase, and temperatures will also increase. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 80s, while lows will only fall to around 70 degrees at night. There is a low chance of a few showers developing at night.
Monday
Monday morning will bring a better chance for showers. Showers will be possible throughout the day as temperatures push into the upper 80s again.
Tuesday
Showers and thunderstorms will return by Tuesday afternoon, and a few showers will remain in the area for early Wednesday. Both days, highs will be in the mid- to upper 80s, with lows in the upper 60s to 70 degrees.
Conditions will dry out for the latter half of the week but remain hot.
