Tuesday Brings Heavy Rain, Potential for Severe Storms and Cooler Temperatures

4Warn Weather – Rounds of rain are already rolling through the area this morning. A marginal to slight risk of severe thunderstorms exists over portions of Southeast Michigan today as these storms move west to east around 20-30 mph.

What you need to know...

Where: From the Ohio state line to as far north as M-59, but the greater potential will exist in Monroe County.
When: Until 4pm today (Greatest potential for severe weather after 11AM)
Threats: Damaging winds, Isolated flooding, Large Hail and Isolated Tornado

Temperatures will steadily stay in the 60s and low 70s today, a big dip from the mid-80s yesterday. Dry and milder weather with lower humidity moves in Wednesday which then persists through the rest of the week into the weekend.
