4Warn Weather – We will keep the trend of dry weather in the forecast as we look ahead throughout the entire weekend and into early next week.
High-pressure out over the Midwestern United States will control the forecast as we look ahead throughout the next two to three days, and that will keep the dry weather around for most of the region.
Expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds throughout our Saturday, but as the remnant of Debby works off into the northeast, and that high-pressure center out over the Midwest moves into the region, it will be a little breezy as we work throughout the day today. High temperatures heading for the middle 70s, which is well below average with wind gusting as high as MPH throughout much of the day today.
Expect partly cloudy skies overnight Saturday night and early on Sunday morning, and it will be another night to open the windows and give the air-conditioning a break. Overnight lows dropping into the upper 50s by early Sunday morning.
We will rinse and repeat the forecast from the start of the weekend on Saturday for the end of the weekend on Sunday. Temperatures only a degree or two warmer with the breezy winds continuing. High temperatures remaining in the middle 70s by Sunday afternoon.
The dry weather continues all the way through the majority of next week, but we are expecting a warming trend, heading our way. As high-pressure builds overhead, more sunshine than anything is in the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday before a little more cloud cover works in by the end of the week for Thursday and Friday.
As of right now, it doesn’t look like our next chance of rain moves into the forecast until late next Friday night. High temperatures remaining into the lower 80s for the better portion of next week.
