DETROIT – The Aurora Borealis made an appearance across Michigan late Sunday into Monday, August 12th.
A G3 Geomagnetic storm was observed by the Space Weather Prediction Center around 1:30 a.m., which essentially means the Northern Lights could be strong enough to be seen in Metro Detroit with the naked eye ... and it sure was.
