Severe storms possible in Metro Detroit on Friday

4WARN WEATHER – Some patchy fog has developed early this morning in low-lying areas. Sunshine will eventually help burn that off. Otherwise, mild temperatures to kickstart your Wednesday.

Dry and seasonable conditions are expected today as high temperatures rise into the mid-80s this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine throughout the day with clouds mixing in this afternoon.

Sunset is at 8:35 p.m.

Clouds continue to build overnight, and shower chances arrive Thursday afternoon and evening, lingering through the weekend. The best chance for thunderstorms will be Friday and Friday night with isolated severe storms possible in the afternoon and evening.
