4Warn Weather – After a soggy end to the work week with rain showers to start the day, we will keep the chance of a few showers into the forecast overnight Friday, then hold onto the umbrellas as those rain chances stick around, looking ahead into the entire weekend.
Temperatures overnight will not drop much, falling into the upper 60s to near 70° with a few rain showers hanging around.
Weekend forecast
As our area of low pressure and a cold front pulls off to the east to start the weekend, we will hold onto a few showers to start the day on Saturday, but we can’t roll out a few thunderstorms as we work through Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. High temperatures heading for right around 80° by Saturday afternoon.
We will rinse some and repeat the same forecast heading into Sunday’s end of the weekend but expect temperatures to be a few degrees cooler. The high temperature is heading for the upper 70s by Sunday afternoon.
Next week
Looking ahead to next week, another dry stretch of weather is approaching the region. High temperatures will only reach the 70s on Monday and Tuesday, with a little cloud cover sticking around on Monday, giving way to plenty of sunshine by the time we get to Tuesday.
Midweek
You will notice that for most of next week, it will feel a little more like fall than late summer. Overnight lows Monday night through Wednesday night will be in the middle 50s, so you’ll be able to open the windows and give the air conditioning a break.
Next weekend
We keep some sunshine into the forecast with a little cloud cover to end next week on Friday; high temperatures warm up into the 80s by the end of next week.
